How did you come up with your derby name and/or number? (And what do your teammates call you?)

56 is a nod to the number of career titles won by Althea Gibson, a talented athlete and fierce competitor. She was candid about the racism she faced as the first Black amateur tennis player and economic insecurity in the sport. Bionic Bruiser was the brain behind Flying Theatrics.
