How did you come up with your derby name and/or number? (And what do your teammates call you?)
My name is a combo of my love of Otters and a childhood nickname I had. My number is the zipcode from my home town.

What made you decide to try roller derby?
I saw a game and fell in love with the chaos and camaraderie. And I just loved how everyone looked like they were having fun in a space where they could be themselves.

How long have you been playing roller derby?
This is my third year.

What's your favorite thing about MedCity Roller Derby?
My amazing teammates! (And the wind as you fly around the track).

What position or role do you have within the league? (New recruit, Vet skater, board positions, etc.)
Vet (ish) skater and part of the merch team

What are you most excited about this season?
To keep improving

Do you have a game day ritual or routine?
Makeup. I almost never wear makeup so it’s like putting on extra battle armor.

What is your favorite or least favorite drill/skill at practice and why?
If you could live or visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I would love to live in Japan or Ireland.

Stubborn, loyal, enthusiastic

Do you have a favorite song that gets you hyped up for games or practice?
Anything upbeat with a strong female lead singer.

If you had to choose an animal to be, which would you choose and why?
I know…You thought I was going to say otter and I do love the water and seafood so they are a contender. But I’d also have to pick a cat too because I love to find hidden nooks to observe the world and being lazy and basking in the sun sounds pretty good too. Is there a cat-otter combo animal?
